Additionally, the cruise terminal is well connected with other transport modes such as buses and trains, making it easy for passengers to get around. The most common port for cruise ships is Overseas Passenger Terminal (OPT), located in Circular Quay. The wharf area is a large hardstand space on the water’s edge, approximately 4,500 m2. The area is best suited to the likes of pop-up bars & restaurants, marquees, inflatable structures, festivals, photo shoots, film shoots, drive programs, light installations. Hire of The Wharf does not provide access to Terminal toilet facilities. While there isn’t ample seating inside or outside the terminal, there are some seating options, including park benches and lawn areas. Passengers drop their luggage off as soon as they arrive at the terminal, then board the ship with only their cabin luggage. The Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney is conveniently located close to many restaurants, shops and other attractions.
